NCKP 2023: Student Scholarship and Colleague Grant Application Deadline
The NCKP Support Fund provides financial assistance for NCKP 2023 registration through Student Scholarships and Colleague Grants.
NCKP Student Scholarships provide support for students and recent graduates (within 18 months). All those with financial need are encouraged to apply. Scholarships apply specifically to conference registration costs only.
NCKP Colleague Grants provide support for professionals who are experiencing economic hardship. Grants apply specifically to conference registration costs only.

Join us for NCKP 2023 as we gather together in person and online! NCKP 2023: The Piano Conference offers an inspiring experience dedicated to piano teaching, learning, and performing. Returning to the Westin Chicago Lombard Hotel, the full in-person conference includes four days of engaging concerts, keynotes, PEDx presentations, and more. In addition, a special online conference event in June includes a dynamic, international program, with a wide range of special topics.

NCKP 2023: Call for Teaching Demonstration Videos Deadline
NCKP 2023 seeks to highlight excellence in teaching practice and music learning, and calls for submissions of piano lesson videos for the plenary teaching demonstrations. All piano educators, emerging professionals, and students are welcome to submit videos, including those from independent studios, college settings, community music schools, and nonprofit educational organizations.
The Piano Inspires staff welcomes Luis Sanchez and Ricardo de la Torre for a facilitated discussion about repertoire by Central and South American composers.

NCKP 2023: The Piano Conference Proposal Submission Deadline
NCKP 2023 advances and supports the international field of piano teaching, learning, and performing. To celebrate its rich, twenty-five-year history, NCKP 2023 features an in-person gathering with a return to Lombard, Illinois. In addition, the conference includes online opportunities to provide broad and far-reaching access.
We seek proposals that share original ideas, engage our community, and inspire excellence and innovation. We invite proposals from educators, researchers, performers, and leaders in the field, and encourage proposals from emerging professionals and students. Proposals will be blind reviewed.
Proposal Deadline is Monday, October 17, 2022, at 11:59PM PDT.
The Piano Magazine staff will host a facilitated discussion about Carla Salas-Ruiz’s article from the Autumn 2022 issue, featuring discussion and Q&A with the author herself.
