The Piano Conference: NCKP 2027
Join us at The Piano Conference: NCKP 2027 where pianists, educators, and innovators come together to celebrate and amplify the life-changing work of the international piano community. The conference recognizes music makers and educators as essential leaders who enrich and sustain communities.
The Piano Conference features four days of programming that include an interactive Innovation Summit, concerts, keynote presentations, curated PEDx talks, and peer‑reviewed conference sessions on a wide range of topics. To broaden global access, the conference includes an online event, offering sessions in multiple languages and opportunities for live engagement.
The opening one-day Innovation Summit brings the community together to collectively share, dialogue, and exchange ideas. Building upon the 2025 Summit, the 2027 Innovation Summit will shift from dreaming to action. Participants will identify shared priorities and activate ideas to advance teaching, learning, and collaboration through collaborative work, presentations, and focused discussions.
With an emphasis on the pedagogical impact of individuals and community, The Piano Conference offers many opportunities for participation. The multiple calls include proposals for presentations, community initiatives, performances, teaching demonstrations, and poster sessions.
The in-person conference will be held on July 28 to 31, 2027, at the Westin Chicago Lombard Hotel (Lombard, IL) and the online event on June 11 to 13, 2027.
