The Piano Conference: NCKP 2025 will include concerts highlighting multiple performers from the community. The Piano Conference invites performance submissions from educators, performers, emerging professionals, students, and those from independent studios, community music schools, colleges, and universities.
Ideal concert selections will bring awareness to expanding the piano repertoire with music by underrepresented composers and pieces that are lesser known. Repertoire can include solo piano, piano duet (four hand), piano duo (two piano), chamber music with piano, and piano with technology. The musical style can range from classical, jazz, world music, fusion, to others. Whole works or movement(s) can be submitted, with a time limit of eight (8) minutes.
