Innovation Engagement Series
The Innovation Engagement Series is a continuation of the inspiring conversations and bold ideas sparked at the 2025 Innovation Summit. Open to all—whether or not you attended the in-person event—this free online series invites educators, leaders, and visionaries to come together in community to imagine and create a sustainable, inclusive, and innovative future for piano education.
Each session explores key topics that emerged from the Summit, offering fresh perspectives, practical strategies, and opportunities for collaborative thinking. Join us as we deepen the conversation, share ideas, and take meaningful steps toward shaping what’s next for our field.
Let’s build the future together.
Community Impact Engagement Series
The Community Impact Engagement Series is designed to inspire and equip piano teachers to become powerful agents of change in their communities. Led by Dr. Leah Claiborne, this series explores how music educators can create meaningful, inclusive, and culturally responsive programs that extend beyond the studio or classroom. Through conversations, resources, and real-world examples, participants will discover practical strategies for building partnerships, expanding access, and making a lasting impact through music. Whether you’re just getting started or looking to deepen your outreach, this series will help you reimagine what it means to teach with purpose and connect through the piano.
NCKP Summit
The Inaugural NCKP 2025 Innovation Summit: Designing the Future of Piano Education represents an exciting opportunity for our community to reflect on and shape the evolving landscape of piano teaching and learning. We invite you to join us for this transformative event and add your voice to the shared vision of the future of piano education.
Community Impact Grants Initiative

The Community Impact Grants Initiative is designed to amplify and support the innovative work of piano teachers and organizations by providing funding for projects that impact the community, advance community causes, and provide representation and accessibility in music education. Grants will be awarded to individual, collaborative groups, and non-profit organizations working to create positive change in their communities through piano education.
