Cherisse Miller has experienced progressive hearing loss since age nine while pursuing a life of music and playing the piano. Dr. Miller is an advocate for those with hearing loss and anyone that wants to make music. She is a pianist and independent piano teacher in Columbia, South Carolina, and holds three degrees from The University of South Carolina. Her publications appear in Piano Pedagogy Forum and Hearing Review, and she is the editor of Making Music with a Hearing Loss: Strategies and Stories (2011).
