NCKP: The Piano Conference advances the international field of piano teaching, learning, and performing through the dissemination of innovative ideas, cutting-edge research, and diverse perspectives. NCKP promotes connection and engagement within our community through its programming and events.

To celebrate its rich, twenty-five-year history, NCKP 2023 features an in-person gathering with a return to Lombard, Illinois. In addition, an online event launches the conference experience to provide broad, far-reaching access.

Online Event: June 9-11, 2023

Call for Proposals

We invite proposals from educators, researchers, performers, and leaders in the field, and encourage proposals from emerging professionals and students.

Proposal Deadline is Monday, October 17, 2022, at 11:59PM PDT.

Comprehensive In-Person Conference

Join us in-person for four days at the Westin in Lombard, IL, from the afternoon of Wednesday, July 26, through Saturday, July 29, 2023. Experience concerts from top artists, inspirational keynotes, and innovative PEDx talks, and explore an exhibit hall that showcases the current music industry.

Immersive Online Event

Join us online on Friday, June 9 through Sunday, June 11, 2023. Sessions, performances, and keynotes will be delivered through an engaging virtual platform. Participate in a wide range of programming, live discussion, and community networking with attendees from all over the world.
